This PAO maintains the pay
accounts and AFPP Fund accounts of Personnel below officer rank
(PBOR) of Army Supply Corps and also TA personnel. This is one
of the largest PAOs under Principal Controller Of Defence
Accounts, Bangalore, dealing with more than 65000 Individual
Running Ledger Accounts (IRLAs).
The main
functions of this PAO include:
1. Maintenance
of pay accounts and AFPP fund accounts of PBOR, Territorial
Army (TA) Personnel & Defence Civilians.
2. To ensure prompt
settlement of pay and AFPP fund accounts of the personnel
proceeding on discharge, issue of LPC cum data sheet in respect
of PBOR becoming non effective, rendering of Abstract and
Receipts charges for inclusion in All India compilation of
accounts.
