Taking up our promise to provide the best possible services to the Jawans
of the Indian Army, the PAOs under the Organisation of PCDA Bangalore have
whole heartedly put in their best efforts to stabilise the Monthly Pay
systems. I would like to thank all the Units/ Formations as well as the
Jawans for extending their co-operation to the PAOs in this regard.
I
would further like to bring to the notice of all concerned the next
initiative of the PCDA Bangalore in reaching out to our customers, who are
the Jawans of the Indian Army. An interactive Meet with the Jawans of the
South-Western Command is being planned in the 2nd week of Sept’
2012, at Jaipur. This pilot initiative is aimed at educating the Jawans
about their monthly Pay entitlements, while also clarifying their doubts
on issues regarding Income Tax, Bank Accounts, publication of Part II
Orders, etc. This interaction will be conducted by a team of Officers from
the Organisation of PCDA Bangalore, led by the Additional CDA, and is
being organised with the active support of the South Western Command. I
would request the Jawans posted with the South-Western Command, whose Pay
Accounts are being managed by our PAOs to kindly attend the Meet and make
it a success.
It
is with a touch of sadness that I announce that the PAOs have not been
able to upload the Monthly Pay Statements of the Jawans onto the Internet
and our websites this month, due to certain issues pertaining to Security
clearance. We are hopeful of getting the same sorted out at the earliest
and start uploading the MSAs as soon as possible. However, the MSAs have
been uploaded on to the Websites of the respective Record Offices, which
are on the Army Intranet. Also the PAOs would be willing to provide the
information regarding Monthly Statements to individual Units on CDs,
wherever a Unit approaches us.
I,
end, with a request once again to all concerned to realise the importance
of providing the correct PAN number to the PAO, in order to enable us to
upload correct IT details to the Income Tax Dept. This fact may please be
disseminated to all the Jawans, as it will enable them to get quick and
correct refunds from the IT authorities. |
